Morse High School Culinary Arts Facility Dedicated
On May 30, 2012, San Diego Unified School District dedicated its new culinary arts facility at Morse High School with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The facility provides a much needed hands-on instructional kitchen, dining area, outdoor cafe and classrooms. The school's Hungry Tiger culinary arts program, part of the District's College, Career & Technical Education facility (CCTE), provides students with a professional working environment while still in high school. Burkett & Wong Engineers worked with Zagrodnik + Thomas Architects to provide civil engineering design for the existing site on a busy school campus.
