Burkett & Wong Engineers was the prime consultant for this 130-foot span, reinforced concrete slab, cable-stayed, pedestrian suspension bridge on UCSD campus. Dr. Frieder Seible, Professor of Structural Engineering at UCSD, was the designer in association with Taal Safdie. The bridge spans La Jolla Shores Drive, from the Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics Unit II to a point near the Stephen Birch Aquarium and Museum.
