Hotel Indigo is a boutique hotel on a 17,049 SF parcel located at the northeast corner of the intersection of 9th Avenue and Island Avenue in downtown San Diego. The northern boundary of the site contains a 3-story hotel structure with natural light wells adjacent to the property line. The hotel consists of a 12-story (170,000 SF) concrete framed tower over a two-level subterranean parking garage (35,000 SF). The building was designed per CCDC PDO requirements. Hotel Indigo, San Diego consists of 210 guestrooms, a 75 seat restaurant, and 1,200 SF of meeting space. Notable features include a rooftop terrace with a reflection pool, fire pits, soft seating and a view of baseball games at Petco Park. Sustainable features include recycled materials, CFC-free cooling system, natural lighting, windows with insulating glaze and a "green roof" will include native species of grasses and shrubbery that will reduce heating and cooling and better manage storm water runoff.
