Adjacent to the Grossmont Healthcare District Library and Conference Center and the future Challenge Center, the park serves as a healing environment for those in need of reflection and nurturing. It features a variety of gardens including butterfly, texture and fragrance and a large play area full of innovative and unique play equipment that provide for diverse experiences and a sense of discovery.

Burkett & Wong Engineers' civil work consisted of grading, drainage and utility design. Grading included interactive turf mounds and ADA accessible trails throughout the park. Storm drainage system consists of underground piping with catch basins, landscape drains and dry pond which functions as a water quality best management practice (BMP). Utilities included new water and sewer laterals to serve new restroom building. Structural consisted of an 800 SF bathroom and entrance arch fountain.
