Mission Statement
Burkett & Wong Engineers is dedicated to providing industry leading engineering and professional services through efficient, cost-effective and sustainable solutions that make positive impacts in our community. We are committed to supporting our team members by providing them the opportunity to learn, grow, contribute, and succeed. We treat all our team members with respect and trust, so they in turn will provide customer service to exceed our clients' expectations.
Building Information Modeling
Burkett & Wong Engineers utilizes Autodesk Revit Structure and AutoCAD Civil 3D for its Building Information Modeling (BIM) design tools. Revit Structure allows Structural Engineers to design building structural systems in three dimensions and with "intelligence" built into the model. Similarly, we use Civil 3D to produce site terrain models and underground utility networks. Our team is able to combine Civil 3D models with Revit models to produce a complete model of a project from ground, up.
Sustainable Design
We have a proven track record of meeting the sustainability goals of our clients. Both our civil and structural engineering designs have contributed to LEED certified projects at all rating levels including Platinum. These projects have incorporated sustainable strategies ranging from site selection, storm water treatment, low water use landscaping, recycled building materials and locally sourced materials.
